One of Trad Online's uniqueness is that one of its partners is an expert computer engineer, graduated in ESIEE Management. Backed by a strong experience spanning several years in the development and management of information technology projects in the financial and banking sectors, he manages a team of translators specializing in IT, mainly in English, German and Spanish.  He also takes up special developments (information gateways) which can be offered to our large account customers within the framework of long-term projects ("synchronous and multi-lingual" translation of continuously changing FAQ for a web-based service and deployed in many countries,...). 

These projects cover different subjects: online help, user manuals, training manuals, procedure guides, coding/programming guides, electronic document management, protocol descriptions, security policies, special applications and software, CRM, CMS and ERP software, all documents related to computer networks, datamining, datawarehouse, etc.

As in the case of technical translations, we generally put in place for these projects, owing to the large translation volumes, a translation glossary at the minimum or a project-specific translation memory (usually with the help of Trados, translation assistance software).  This enables us to ensure terminology consistency across the entire project which, considering the volumes and the usually tight deadlines, must be distributed among a team of translators.
